Consequently, the super strength and high ductility of the 65 Mn steel with a normal grain martensite structure are achieved by processing the material at appropriate temperatures.

The device according to the present invention consists of two main elements (A and B) with a torsion spring (M) placed and attached between them. The first element (A) consists of a special pulley with a fixed hub designed to be inserted and held against the fixed shaft that supports a series of rotating pulleys around which the rolling shutter is rolled. The special pulley also has a drum (5) inserted and free to rotate in both directions and characterised by an external toothed crown (7) that cooperates with a balancing retention pawl (8) able to interfere with said toothed crown in case of failure of the spring (M), thus making it impossible for the descending travel of the rolling shutter.
The balancing retention pawl is pushed away by the thrust of the special return spring to leave its rest position and reach the toothed crown (7) in order to interrupt the rotation of the rotating drum. A microswitch is designed to immediately inform the user of the breakage of the torsion spring (by means of indicator lights or acoustic means), thus also simultaneously cutting out the electrical power supply of the motor in case the rolling shutter is powered by electric drive.
